Name 19 Hours in Beijing
No plans at all so far... I arrive at 1.30pm on the 19th of May and leave the following morning at 8.30am. I've hardly done any research but I know the city of Beijing is BIG, so any ideas/recommendation are welcome!
I'd like to do a bit of walking to explore the city, maybe even rent a push-bike? Although I think I'll wait to see what the safety (i.e. traffic) is like first and then decide on renting a bike. Whatever I do I can't get injured. Months of training are preparing me for the big Gobi 2011 desert trek that's starting a few days later, so no risks in Beijing.
With the limited timeframe, what do you think I should focus on?
Great Wall?
Tiananmen Square?
Tea tasting?
Forbidden City?
Temple of Heaven?
Foot massage?
Chinese cooking class?
Will anyone be in Beijing at the same time? Foreign or local I don't mind, but company would be lovely :)
