I'm in Chiang Mai, Thailand for Christmas and New Years.

I haven't done much detailed planning past the next few weeks, but the itinerary is approximately as follows (with lots of flexibility):

Leaving for Laos around Jan 6.
Entering Vietnam around Jan 15 for about 2 weeks.
Cambodia for about 1-2 weeks.
Bangkok for about 3 days.
Southern Thailand for about 2 weeks.
Malaysia for 2 weeks.
Singapore for a few days.

Clementense Hi! i live in Singapore and will be traveling to Malaysia from 12-16 Feb. a short trip covering Penang (food and culture) and Langkawi (beachy resort stuff). i'd love for this to be part of your SE Asian trip. or if all else fails, i could introduce you to some cool places in Singapore!

lilyl Hi Clementense, sorry for the late reply! I'm current in Siem Reap, Cambodia and going to Bangkok (and then south) in 2 days. Most likely I'll be in Malaysia in about 2 weeks. Will you still be there? If not, seeing some cool places in Singapore sounds great too :)

Clementense Hey Lily. No worries. Part of traveling is getting lost and away from technology. =) I missed the trip to Malaysia. Will remain in Singapore til 20th march before heading to Beijing for a couple of weeks. Would love to hang out when you drop by!
