9 days to soak up Syndey - Group Travel

Staying in Sydney. I want to soak up the city as much as possible, in a leisurely, easy-going pace. I've made the mistake of planning my last trip in Thailand to the hour, leaving me feeling less relaxed than I should on a vacation (don't get me wrong, I still loved the trip). However, when I did spur of the moment adventures, I felt at my best. So I want to do that in Sydney. I'm fairly fit, so a walking/biking trip and surfing lesson is something I'm open to. Beach is a must, and so is eating and hanging out with the locals. All within a budget. Listed some desired locations in highlights, but not necessarily expecting to hit them all...I have to remember, take it easy.
