Ambitious Around the World Trip! - Group Travel

Hello. My name is Aloys, I am 24 years old. I grew up in France and studied in Canada for the last 4 years. I will finish my business school in December, 2011, and before to start working for the next 40 years I am planning of doing this round the world trip (9 to 12 months in 2012, using an RTW ticket) to experience new cultures and new countries.

I have posted this thread to find travel partners for this round the world itinerary (friends and family unable to go). The idea is to share costs and have the security of not travelling alone.

The trip would include visiting countries mostly in South America, Asia and Middle-East, and perhaps Africa. I am flexible in terms of destinations (and dates), but I would at least visit the following countries: Argentina, Chile, New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, Tibet, Nepal, India, United Arab Emirates and Turkey. We could add other countries on the way. I think this itinerary would make a diverse and very interesting trip.
My idea is to use a RTW ticket to save money, with about 15 stops, and to backpack in each visited country!

My travel philosophy is to meet and spend time with local people as much as possible, to experience the visited country and culture from the inside, and not from the swimming-pool of an all-inclusive resort. I enjoy visiting the center of important cities, as well as isolated places in the middle of nowhere. While travelling I like to experience both natural and cultural aspects of a visited country, and do a lot of outdoor activities (horse-riding, diving, sailing, trekking, rafting, etc.). I am organized but adaptable to events and opportunities while travelling.
