Todd Hey perks, is the itinerary in that order? So you'll be in the Middle East and India around Jan to Mar? If so, check out http://globetrooper.com/the-great-circular-indian-railway-challenge-2011. Also, if you want a good book to read before Southern Africa, check out "Whatever You Do, Don't Run: True Tales of a Botswana Safari Guide". I'm reading it now and it's hilarious. It will give you some insight into how these Safari camps run before you get there. Anyway, looks like our itineraries are pretty close (other than Africa). We may stay for a few months in Vietnam after the Indian trip.
