Around the world in £6000 - Group Travel

Hi , basically I want to get out and see the world , I know too many people and have heard about too many adventures for me to be happy and never having any of my own .. I'm just starting planning so nothing's set in stone yet , I do know I want to see alot of India , maybe go on a trek there .. Vietnam , Thailand and china are places I'd like to spend alot of time , friendly people , good food and it's so cheap there .. Australia and new Zealand will have to be done , was thinking of maybe doing a bit of work here or maybe a few days here and there on the helpx scheme where you do 4/5 hours work a day for food and a room , might even visit friends and stick a tent up in their yard .. Onto south America and up in America for as far as my money will get me .. Pretty sketchy at the minute but I'm 100% committed in doing this .. Would be nice for someone to go part of or all of the way with , I've never met anyone I haven't gotten on well with and I think this could be a really good trip .. Hope to hear from someone soon , any advice is welcomed from people who've travelled or who are planning to , what to take , where to go , how to get there etc .. :0)
