Hi all I am looking to go on a round the world trip to get to see eveything I've always dreamed of seeing. Nothing fancy or too strict, just getting to see parts of the world that I've always wondered about. Nothing is specialized; I just want to live the culture of many places and get to finally say that I have seen all seven continents. I'm looking for young (18-24) travellers who are flexible about locations and travel and are eager to see the world! No flights are booked yet.

Maxime366 Hey Tay, where are you now? I'm from the US and am planning on being in Australia/New Zealand this January-Feb and then to southeast Asia in March-April and then to Africa after that! I'm extremely flexible. Sounds likes we have very similar plans!

Tay2016 Hi Charlene! I think probably around January I'll be in China/Asia... I'm looking at a schedule like this: July-Sept in South America Sept-Feb in Asia March-May in Africa May-Sept in Europe

Todd Hi Tay, do you have any idea where you're starting from? We'll be in China or somewhere in SE Asia when you start. Currently in India, which is much easier than we thought it would be. Food is awesome, weather is perfect, lots of spoken English, and very low cost fo living.

Tay2016 Hi Todd Nothing is set in stone, so I'm not sure. I thought of starting in South America, though, just because it's closer to where I live (I'm from the US) and working my way west to China, then Southeast Asia, and then we'll have to see.

Todd Cool. Peru is easy to travel through, especially if you don't have much Spanish. Bolivia is really cheap and gorgeous too. If you make it to Bolivia, the prison is the craziest thing you'll ever do (we wrote about it here: http://globetrooper.com/notes/how-to-get-into-san-pedro-prison-bolivia). Buenos Aires is nice, lots of great steak, but quite expensive in comparison. Still much cheaper than the US though. We found with limited Spanish, BA was a little harder to get around.
