Backpacking Through Central and South America - Group Travel

I would love to travel with a group of 4 to 8 people starting in Costa Rica and ending in Argentina from Sept 1 to Dec 1 2012. I have found during traveling that the company you travel with has a huge impact on experience. I estimate that the trip will cost ~ $5000 USD. Staying in hostels, traveling by bus. Figuring things out as we go and enjoying the slight sketchiness that ensues. I am from Portland Oregon, 27, male.
