My price estimate is based on spending $70 a day for 2 or 3 months. This is probably more on the higher spectrum as far as spending just from talking to a few people that have backpacked.
I will be heading to Rome august 8th to 11th then plan on exploring more of Italy but have made definite plans yet!

egypttravel Your first stop is a visit to the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Then, you will see the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body, which dates back to the time of Chephren. You will also tour the Valley Temple, which belongs to the Pyramid of Chephren. This temple served definitely two functions, namely for the preparative purification of the king's body before its burial as well as the actual mummification process.

Holly Carpenter Hi, I think I am in the same boat as you as far as finding a person to set a route with. I budgeted for about 6 weeks but I will have no ties after graduation so I could stay longer. I was thinking about starting in Paris and ending with Oktoberfest . I noticed you have Turkey listed which is a must see for me so let me know if you think we might be able to merge travel plans, I'm hoping to have a partner to help plan and keep company while embarking on this adventure!

Catherine Hey everyone! I'm also looking at going to the same places (Greece, Italy, Spain, Germany, England, Ireland... the list goes on) and am hoping to start in September. marja-leena sounds great! i am planning to be in italy and greece in september is it possible to meet up with somebody? anybody? im 18 and my parents would prefer i don't travel alone. eventually i am meeting up with my uncle in greece.

marja-leena ok! i am not 100 percent sure about italy yet, it may make my trip a tad bit too expensive. i was hoping to go to venice but i didn't have plans of exactly where to stay

Catherine Awesome! i'm currently setting up a spreadsheet that anyone invited can alter. If you guys would like, I can send it your way once I'm done setting it up and we can all put our travel ideas/info into it and it might give us a better picture as to where we plan to be and when. I'm still in the process of working out my route. Anyways, if you're intrested let me know - it just may be a bit easier of a way to organize ourselves.

kakitekatie Hi, I'm travelling around that time, I will be in Greece in September and want to make my way up to Sweden, stopping in croatia, austria, germany, denmark as well as a few other countries. My journey will finish early November. I would love a travel buddy. I saw you are thinking about getting a one way ticket, this not be a good idea if you fly into London, they like to see a return.
