Irfan Don't let price stop you, I always regretted not enjoying a bit more in South East Asia. Money will always come! And I'm a student too, I'm about to graduate after 5 years of university.
The fact that you are already in Netherlands saves you a bit already.
I've actually spent time doing the math to make this trip as economical as possible. My transportation plan actually saves me $250 if I don't get a Eurail pass and just buy point-to-point train tickets and 2 flights.
