Bronita Thanks for that, but I am going to be traveling independently, I prefer the freedom of doing it that way. Where were your favorite places?

Remy Your trip sounds great. I'm due in SE Asia late August and was planning to climb Mt Kinabalu sometime in September. Keep me posted on your itinerary and perhaps we can meet up in early Sept.

Bronita Cool, i'm thinking of climbing Mt. K either at the beginning or end of my trip so would either be around 13th Aug or 4th/5th Sept so if it ended up being the latter then that could work out. Where else are you planning on heading in Borneo?

Remy In Sarawak, a couple of days exploring Kuching, and hiking and exploring Bako and Gunung Mulu National Park’s. Similarly for Sabah, a day of two in Kota Kinabalu, before climbing the mountain. I’ve also heard good reports on the Maliau Basin Conservation Area. And of course, some snorkelling/relaxing on a tropical beach. So that’s a rough plan, with set itinerary as yet. I’m open to suggestions??
