Climb an amazing Canadian Peak - Group Travel

Who wants to climb Mt. Robson?????? After Mt. Alberta is is the most difficult mountain to climb in North America south of Alaska!!!! It is a very well known Canadian mountain. Located in the beautiful Canadian Rockies it is the tallest mountain in the Canadian Rockies stretching from the border of the US up to the top of Alberta and British Columbia. It stands at 12,972ft high!!!!!!!!!

Being the tallest thing around the peak i battered by constant storms. Hundreds of people attempt this mountain every year and only about 10% of them make it to the top.

The route I am hoping to climb is the Kain face on the backside. It is about a 7 hour hike back there where we will spend our days camped on the glacier until a good window of weather opens up to go for the summit. Some people sit there for a couple weeks and never see that window. This also requires travelling through a massive icefall filled with crevasses. Many people helicopter over this to the base camp as they fear falling towers of ice and crevasses, but whats the fun in that ;)

If you are interested get back to me. We can talk more about logistics then to. The cost is essentially any camping we do while not at the mountain and back country camping fees. It is kinda a rough estimate for gas food and other things. Granted that you got all gear needed.
