Coastal bike trek from mid-Oregon to San Francisco - Group Travel

Hello Everyone! I'm planning a trip along the Pacific coast of the USA from the middle of Oregon to San Francisco, California and would love to share the experience with another like-minded individual. This trip has been on my bucket list for years and I finally have the time to do it! It also helps that I'm probably at the most physically fit point in my life so I know I won't tire out on the first day (or the last, for that matter).

The trip will start in Coos Bay, Oregon and travel down the Pacific coast to San Francisco. I plan to camp most of the way with a couple nights at youth hostels and/or motels to relax. The whole trip will be around 650 miles (1,050 Km) and average about 65 miles (100 Km) per day. I don't expect the trip to take the full 2 weeks that I have planned but I'm assuming that I might want to take a day off of riding for a day or two along the way.

I plan to cook my own breakfasts and dinners every day at camp and build cold lunches and snacks on the trail since I'll be passing numerous little towns every day. Of course, I'm sure there will be a few restaurant meals along the way but those will be few and far between.

The right riding partner would be interested in long days of riding, sharing in the camp duties, enjoy low-meat high-veggie meals and the need to get away from technology and other creature comforts.
