Name Cuba! Viva La Revolucion!

Am an experienced independent traveler, having been to over 30 countries in 4 continents. This time around am looking to have some travel buddies for my next trip. Am interested in seeing Cuba and all that it has to offer. Tentative idea is:

Havana, Cienfuego, Trinidad, Santiago, Baracoa, Gibera, Camaguay, Santa Clara, Vinales
I like seeing and doing a lot, am quite active. For this trip I'd like to check the towns, hike, go to museums and cultural events, hit the beaches, do some scenic drives, salsa in the streets ... you get the idea. Obviously I am good with having space, so no need to worry about a clingy needy travel buddy.

Am easy going in nature and fun to be around. Am looking to do this rather soon actually, trying to pull it all together in the next couple weeks even. Am doing research now and already have some potential local connections through friends.

If you are interested, contact me soon ...
Mike.

Todd Hey Mike, off to Cuba hey? How's life in MTL? We've been putting your 'Bueno' tip to good use down here in Sth America :) How's everything otherwise?

mtlmike Not so bad on my end, though that crazy job didn't work out. I am #19 gone since May. Says a lot. Good to hear about South Am. Seems like your plans changed. Let me know if you need any info for south am ... Am looking forward to Cuba, should be good.

Todd Sounds like the job was creating more stress that it was worth. Must have been something in the tap water :) Yeah, plans change every week depending on opportunities that pop up. We've been in Cusco now for 6 weeks and exploring all over Peru. Heading to Bolivia on Monday (if the strikes in Puno subside), then down to Argentina. Would love to hear about Cuba when you get back.

mtlmike Go for chocolate brownies at a place called Qosqopolis Cafe, found on Carmen Alto 202 in San Blas (which is a nice neighbourhood anyway to stroll through). Tell the dude, who is terribly nice and speaks english well that Mike from Montreal Canada sent you, though it has been two years now. I did send him a lot of people. He makes a decent brownie, south am standards.
