I contacted my friends who are familiar with the region and have done this bike ride so based on their inputs here is the plan:

Day 1 – Delhi - Chandigarh
Day 2 – Chandigarh – Manali (Stop at Kullu)
Day 3 – Manali – Keylong or stop at Jispa
Day 4 – Reach Sarchu or reach Pang
Day 5 – Sarchu – Leh (200 Kms) or Pang to Leh – can reach by lunch time.
Day 6 – Leh (Enjoy Leh)
Day 7 – Leh – K-Top – Diskit or Hundar
Day 8 – Diskit – Panamic – K-Top – Leh
Day 9 – Leh
Day 10 – Leh – Kargil
Day 11 – Kargil – Sonamarg or Srinagar
Day 12 – Reach Patnitop
Day 13 – Reach Chandigarh
Day 14 - Delhi

And again this is completely flexible, if a place is interesting I don't mind spending an extra day or just camping in the mountains.

Flo i was planning to do the whole thing by myself on a pulsar 180, im down south now but ill be arriving via train in delhi on the 12th. when's the final departure date?

Amrit I don't see any problem as long as it drives smooth after loading it up with gear.

savneet I wll advice you to take any bike at least of 150cc or more that that. Becoz u need to carry the luggage with u also. Crossing rohtang pass is one of the difficult pass in the journey.

savneet Yup, I have Pulsar 180cc. I recommend you if you can hire bullet 350 cc.

savneet You can go to karol bagh market, there are lots of shop which give bullet on rent. I think for bullet 350 you need to pay 600 rs per day.
