Name Drive from Brussels to Singapore... and on..
We are planning to drive *slow* from Brussels to Singapore (yes you can drive 'till there!! :) ). Trying to go not too far north during winter 2011 to avoid the mongolian or chinese winter. I'm a photographer, so maybe I'll stay for 1-2 days in one place if I like it, maybe longer, even do some work for people underway so the budget stays within limits. I'm a cook, so cooking every day is important for me! :)
So, if time is no limit for you, you like 100-200Km drives a day, not more, and want to stay at some places for a few days, feel free to join.
The route will be as follows :
Brussels - Munich - Austria - Bulgaria - around the black sea (northern route as southern route goes through beautiful but not so safe Georgia...) - Ukraine - Kazachstan - China (southern to avoid harsh winter) - Vietnam - Laos - Thailand - Malaysia - Singapore
Backtrip same way back, but trying to do the southern route black sea (if we are 3 or more vehicles we can risk it). Or maybe go on and take the carferry to Darwin, Australia and go on there...
Any ideas are welcome!! Traveling with 2-3 vehicles will make it safer, also when someone's vehicle breaks down. We will have satellite internet and phone on board.

Still looking for flights? You can have flight experts compete against one another to find you the absolute best and cheapest flights.
Rp I am from Hungary and I find your plan intereting. I wanted to drive from Hungary to Thailand. I did some research on the route. Obviously for you there will be no problem driving through EU. I wonder why would you go to Bulgaria if you choose the Northern route? Ukraine is no problem either I travel there often. China however is a big problem. Our driver's licence is not valid there. We have to get a temporary driver's licence which is a big pain in the ass. The other problem is that most of the road sign are in Chinese same as good GPS-s. Only garmin has one where you can pinjin. To overcome the obstacle it is always better to have some official looking "sanction" on the trip. Like a TV cooking adventure or a donaton a world peace etc. I like to cook myself so we can put togather a cook through 3 continent type of jouney.
