I will be flying into Nairobi and pick up a 4X4 SUV. Although I am flexible with going to the following areas within Southern Kenya and throughout Tanzania, the Ngorongoro Crate NP is a must. From there, I will see how it goes. Some of the spots to consider are the Serengeti (possibly witness the wildebeest migration), Masai Mara, Amboseli, Tsavo, Selous (less tourists), Gombe (chimpanzees), Ruaha, and a number of smaller parks and lakes. There is also Zanzibar at the tail end of the trip for the beaches and a little culture (if there is time). Some of this will be self-guided, other parts guided by a local expert, and there's always the park rangers who offer their services. I will be bringing professional photography gear and whom ever comes along can use one of my cameras and of course the lenses that go with them. Finally, the accommodations will be mixed as well: camping, lodges, and if need be, a night or two in the vehicle itself.
