Planning a trip for a few graduates from California. None of us have backpacked before that's why we're hoping to start a travel group to join us. We'll be starting off around Glastonbury and attending the Glastonbury 2013 Festival to start off our trip. We're just looking to explore the world, meet new people and party! We haven't started planning much yet this is just the beginning, the dates aren't definite but it will be around spring/summer of 2013. If you're interested let us know. We are friendly and would love to travel with you fellow Americans!

mdrisch Hey, I am going to be in California too. I have never left the country and am a little nervous about it but with a nice group I think it would a blast. If you have more info please let me know so I can see what I can afford/where we can meet etc.

kushaze Taylor. I only planned on staying in Europe from Juny 24- July 16. Glastonbury Festival, Roskilde Festival and Exit Festival. What festival are you interested in? I might convince myself to go to another festival and stay in Europe an extra week.

Bailey I'm Bailey from New Orleans. I attended Glastonbury 2011 and it changed my life in completely inexplicable ways. I cannot bear the loneliness of not being able to relate to another American about this. I have my 2013 ticket and would love to go with some Americans this time.

kushaze Bailey. I would be interested in meeting up with you at Glastonbury. I am thinking about going to the Tame Impala show at the Hammersmith Apollo on the 25th and taking the bus from London Victoria at 4am on the 26th. Will be flying to Denmark for Roskilde Festival on July 1st and then to Serbia for Exit Festival on the 9th. Let me know if you are interested in meeting up and I can send you my facebook. eurokat Hi this sounds really awesome. I think I'm going to Sonar Festival/Barcelona from June 13-17, If you're interested in backpacking a bit before Glastonbury I will be looking into that from the end of sonar on. Message me if that sounds like a possibility or have questions!

Dey Yeah! it actually didn't even occur to me that other festivals would be happening...maybe we will check them out. We were just thinking of couch surfing around after Glasto. What are you planning to do about tent/sleeping situation?

kushaze I will probably just buy a tent and sleeping bag when I arrive in London. I don't plan on bringing much. Bringing clothes I don't care about. I am flying out of London for Roskilde Festival after Glastonbury (hopefully get there by Tuesday morning.). Going to hit up Copenhagen, Hamburg and Amsterdam after Roskilde (fly back home from Amsterdam).

kushaze I am tempted to do Glastonbury Festival to Roskilde Festival to Oxegen Festival and fly back from Dublin. Only going to Amsterdam if I can visit the coffee shops as a tourist.

Dey Okay, yeah I think that's what we will do too...and then take coach to Glastonbury from London! Or fly into Bristol which might be more expensive. It's exciting how many festivals you are going to! I don't think I can go through the craziness that was getting Glasto tickets again for another festival...too much stress ha. You should definitely visit Amsterdam though
