I have no solid plans except I'm really pumped to see Spain.
I'm thinking of landing in London on the 18th of May and circling western Europe for three months.
I have a list of festivals I'd like to see. Some free music/culture festivals, some 3 day camping music festivals. I am definitely going to the Running of the Bulls (not participating as I'm not THAT much of a fool).
I plan on drinking and partying a bit but not so much I don't remember that I ever went to Europe!
I will use the Eurail pass, which is cheaper if you travel with someone.
I'm staying at backpacker hostels, not hotels.
I'm looking to travel with guys/girls 18-30 who aren't a stress to be around, who have a sense of humour and who doesn't mind pushing the boundaries!
Couch Surfing is an option too. (Look me up if you're ever in Oz).
Whatever happens there will be plenty of fun, vegemite, laughs and great memories.

PS. I googled 'exploring' and 'backpacking' and that is how I found the photo... That chick should seriously get a GPS...

Anne I am totally winging it too! I am 27 and pretty laid back as well. I plan on starting in Dublin Ireland first then taking a ferry to the UK, I have places I want to go but not much after that. I am going to Eurrail it as well as well as hostel it.

DaveJAFA im not sure. im going to vietnam/thailand march 4-30 so i cant book then. maybe ill book before i leave for that. ill be landing in europe around the start of may i think

Anne Dave, I'm leaving from Texas. I joke about how I probably won't want to leave Europe so maybe we could find a job together in the UK! ;) When are you leaving?

DaveJAFA it would be great to work in the UK but i would need to apply for a working visa. ill have to look into that soon. im off to vietnam this saturday and im going for a month. after that i will book my flights to europe. im looking to go in may some time

jose are we talking about may 4th here? Man, I would so be there, but I'm not arriving in Europe till June... too bad though 'cause I'm pretty crazy, and running the bulls is my kind of fun.. hahaha is that the only date they do it?

Lrae Around two months total. I have a friend in London I was planning on hanging with for a bit. Nothing planned in terms of dates. I would like to hit running with the bulls and a few festivals but am pretty flexible otherwise.

DaveJAFA i will be in Pamplona July 3 for at least several days as the running of the bulls goes until the 14th of July. I will go to madrid after that to stay at the resort and teach English (if they accept my application). Also, I would love to check out Ibiza one weekend :D Anne: Where will you be leaving in June? your home or Europe?

Daniel Everett nope! i only booked the first part of my trip from Berlin to Venice, and i'm gonna see what i feel like doing after that...might skip Swizterland to do more of Italy before heading to Spain...wingin it ;)

DaveJAFA if you're on facebook, ill add you so we can keep in touch. I have to go to switzerland because out of everyone i ask that is one of the three countries that is always spoken about :D (thailand and czech republic are the others). what date are you flying in?

Daniel Everett yeah i'm on facebook although my profile is hidden (med school interviews coming up and i dont want any incriminating evidence lol) whats ur name on facebook? really? i hear switzerland is great in the winter, not so much in the summer...plus its really expensive lol but if ur gonna go anyway, might as well go together then head to spain...flying to berlin on june 5th, few days there than prague

DaveJAFA haha yeah, facebook can bring anyone undone if the wrong people see it ;) i think i might be hidden but look for 'davidsun martinaki'. ill probably be getting there earlier than you, was thinking the start to mid may but i want to go to amsterdam anyway.
