Experiencing the world - Group Travel

I'm an 18 year old girl, planning on doing a RTW trip in 2013-2014, being on the road for 9 months. Africa, Australia, Asia, the pacific, USA are all on my list of places I'd like to visit.

Right now the idea was to do an eastbound RTW, starting from somewhere in Europe (I live in Denmark, Scandinavia) going to somewhere in Africa - currently been looking on Kenya (Nairobi). From there to India (or Nepal, or both?) continuing on to either Sri Lanka or directly to Thailand, possibly stopping by Bali, going roadtripping in Australia and NZ, experience a relaxing pacific island (been looking at Fiji) then head on to USA and do a roadtrip there as well, then end it all off with a trip to the warm springs on Iceland.

The reason why I want to travel is to learn as a human. I want to see other cultures, customs and the beautiful nature all over the world, the biological variety and the largest cities on earth. I'm interested in a bit of everything - hitting bars in Australia or volunteering as an elephant keeper in Sri Lanka.

I'm fine living in a tent for weeks or sleeping in a campervan. I am not much into hiking though. Walking for hours getting nowhere have never really been a hobby of mine. Give me some horsepowers and I'll hit the road on wheels instead! :)

I am not exactly looking for one person to travel all the way around the earth with, I am planning on doing a bit of travel on my own as well. But it would be great with company on some of the journey.
