Hi everybody, I'm Marie from Singapore and I'm going to beautiful Germany for 2 weeks. I love travelling and I've been to quite a few places, but this is my first solo trip and I'm so excited. I'm going to start off with Oktoberfest but the main highlights of my trip is The Black Forest, Romantic Road and Fairy Tale Road (in this order). I'm currently finalising my itinerary and booking my accomodation, and figuring out how to go from one place to the next. The places I would be going to are pretty much fixed so I don't think I would be making any changes to that but if you would be in the areas where I would be going I would love company over tea or dinner and share stories, or maybe some company along the way as well for the places I would be going to visit. =)

Lauren Wow you've done your research on Germany! It sounds like a great trip you have planned. Todd and I (founders of Globetrooper) will be living in Berlin then, so it would be great to meet up for a coffee or beer if you're coming through :)

Todd Hey Marie, we're planning to do oktober fest too. Arriving in Berlin around the 12th of Sept and will be there for 3 months. Maybe we'll see you there.

marietheant Hi Lauren and Todd, nice to hear from you :) Yup I will be at Oktoberfest on the 18th - gonna catch the parade! I am so excited. Unfortunately I do not have time to visit Berlin, as after the Oktoberfest I will move on to the Romantic Road, Fairy Tale Road (gonna stay in the castle at Sababurg!) and Black Forest for 2 days. I will be at Wombats City Hostel for 3 nights starting from the 17th. Not sure if you´d be around that area though. If we manage to bump into each other, then thats great. If not, anyways cheers to a good time :)
