Hike the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu to support Peruvian schools and orphanages! - Group Travel

Ever dreamed of hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu? Here's an opportunity to do just that... and more. Not only will you be giving yourself the incredible opportunity to hike the world-famous Inca Trail but you'll be supporting schools and orphanages in the Sacred Valley at the same time.

How does it work? Each hiker is asked to raise $2,000 to support the work of GVN Foundation in Peru. We'll be happy to help you with your fundraising by setting up a webpage for you and providing you with lots of creative ideas. Then, after you've completed the trek we will visit the kids benefitting from the funds you've raised.

We'll visit an orphanage where we're setting up a leadership program to give the girls the inspiration and knowledge necessary to become agents of change with their communities. We'll also visit several schools where thanks to the funds you've raised we'll be continuing a lunch and vitamin program. This program is not only reducing malnutrition but is also improving school attendance and grades.

The $2,150 price includes your application fee and your trekking fee as well as your accommodation and food during project days. The additional $2,000 is the amount we ask you to raise for our projects.
