Indigoblue2 I have been to all of the major cities in Italy as well as the mountains. There are some smaller cities and other areas I feel compelled to visit.
I want to do spend less, so hostels and monasteries are an option, however, it is difficult to find space in the monasteries unless they are made well in advance. I would never couch surf alone! If I were traveling with someone I would!
What are your interests in terms of experiences you would like to have?

Indigoblue2 I have been to Italy 3 times on my own and loved the experience, I would find it to be much more interesting to share everything with another person. I also do not want to have to deal with Italian men hitting on me constantly. That was my only complaint in traveling in Italy, otherwise, I love everything about Italy!
