The Fuji Rock and Summersonic festivals are only a week apart this year which presents an excellent opportunity to visit an awesome country and catch some amazing music at the same time.

So far the itinerary is looking like this
24-26th July - Tokyo
27-28th - Osaka
29-31st - Fuji Rock Festival
1 August - Tokyo
2-3rd August - Kyoto
4-5th August Takayama
06 August - Matsumoto
7-8th August - Summersonic Festival in Tokyo
9th - last day in Tokyo

Travel will be jap rail, accomodation will be cheap youth hostels/ryokans.
