Name Let's climb Kilimanjaro!

I haven't plan this trip much, all I know is that I really want to climb Kilimanjaro and I don't want to do it alone. I'm still in college so I can't do this until 2013.

The best time to climb Kilimanjaro is in January-March and June-October. We would fly to Tanzania, climb Kilimanjaro and then you can do whatever you want. I would love to explore Africa better after we've finished climbing and whoever wants to join me would be welcome. To climb Kilimanjaro takes about 5-6 or 6-7 days, depends on which way we will choose to climb.

I really want to climb the mountains in Nepal as well and especially Mt. Everest as a example so it would be amazing if we could make a climbing group and plan a few trips!

If you'r not excited to climb Kilimanjaro then I will consider other mountains to climb! I have never climbed any mountains outside Iceland so I will have to find some easy mountains to start with...

I am flexible with the dates. I can go from 2013 to like 2018 I thing.

If you are a adventurous person like me who loves to climb, please join this group and go climb with me some day in the future!

Yeah and one more think, sorry if my spelling isn't correct. My language isn't English but I still know how to talk English, so that won't be a problem!

Hilde Im planning a trip to Tanzania from 17th of August to 6th of September. I want to start with climbing kili, either the Rongai or the Marangu route. After that I will do a safari before I head out to Zanzibar. Would be great if anyone wants to join me, either for just one of the things or the total travel :)

Trekili.com
Trekili.com Hi Mike/Sophia I would strongly suggest a minimum of 7+ days for the Kilimanjaro climb as the success rate is higher due to good acclimatisation. Dont be tempted to rush your ascent with budget operators, you will suffer. Also consider a night at the crater, most people dont even know they can stay there and its awesome!!! Have a look at Trekili Eco Expeditions, http://www.trekili.com

dinamo
dinamo Hey Sophia! I am planning to climb Kilimanjaro on July 12-18, Machame route with Climbing Kilimajaro. I've done a ton of research on this, and this company has been extremely highly reviewed and is a good value! I'm also planning on doing a safari and going to Zanzibar. I'm starting grad school in the fall, so this is going to be a major trip for me - taking a total 3 weeks and definitely interested in travel buddies!

Melody
Melody I am planning to do a 6-8 day Lemosho route sometime between 27 June and 08 July, 2013. I haven't picked a tour company yet, but have communicated with several local Tanzanian companies. We are currently a group of three and would welcome others to join in order to reduce the cost and have more fun.

Duvvy
Duvvy Hey beautiful people. My name is Daniel and I will be in Tanzania volunteering with IVHQ from April 1st-July 1st, 2013. I have an itch to climb Kili and have been in contact with a couple people who can find me and future hiking buddies a great deal if there is a group of us. It is best to get rid of the "middle man" and to get in contact with someone who lives in Arusha and who can find use teh best prices from the most reputable organization. Luckily, I think I might have found it. So if anyone is interested during the time that I will be going, I would love to hear from you. Cheers.

Cristie Hey! We (myself and two friends) are climbing the Lemosho route in September 2013. Plan to summit for the full moon. Would love to hear any advice - something you wish you knew before you went. Did you take enough clothes/food? Is there anything you wish you had while you were there? Thanks for your information!!
