I'm looking for a select group of Adventurers out there that want to travel to Tanzania and climb to the roof of Africa via the Lemosho route in the late summer or fall of 2015. You don't have to be a mountain climber to make it to the summit, but you will have to be in reasonably good physical (and mental) shape. There are no ropes to climb but the route is steep and challenging.
The entire trip will take 11 - 14 days and is not cheap - count on about $3K to the tour operator and another $2K for airfare plus any gear you need to buy. No tour operator has been chosen yet, but they will provide everything we need on the mountain including food, water, camp setup and breakdown, guides, porters, medical, etc.
There are numerous videos on YouTube documenting climbs if you want to see what you're in for.
If this sounds like an excellent idea then this is the trip for you.
I attempted this climb in 2013 but got a chest infection. I've been chomping at the bit to get back there and give it another go. It is a great time!
Let's Climb Kilimanjaro in Sept / Oct of 2015
