Argentina is a large country located in the southern part of South America. It is bordered by Chile to the west, Bolivia and Paraguay to the north, and Brazil and Uruguay to the northeast. The country has a varied geography, with the flat plains of the Pampas in the center, the Andes mountains in the west, and the subtropical jungle of the Gran Chaco in the north. Argentina is also home to some of the world’s highest waterfalls, including Iguazu Falls on the border with Brazil. The country has a rich culture, with a strong tradition of literature and music. Argentine tango is one of the most popular forms of dance in the world, and Buenos Aires is often referred to as the “Paris of South America.”
