Tanzania is a country located in East Africa. The country is bordered by the Indian Ocean to the east, Kenya to the north, Uganda to the west, Rwanda, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of Congo to the southwest, and Zambia to the south. Tanzania covers an area of 364,900 square miles and has a population of approximately 55 million people. The capital city of Tanzania is Dodoma, although the largest city is Dar es Salaam. The official languages of Tanzania are Swahili and English.

Tanzania is a diverse country with many different cultures and traditions. The majority of the population is Christian, although there is also a significant Muslim minority. There are also small numbers of Hindus, Buddhists, and animists. Tanzanian music is unique and includes elements from both African and Western musical traditions. The country is also home to some of Africa’s highest mountains, including Mount Kilimanjaro, as well as vast plains and huge lakes. Tanzania is a fascinating country with something to offer everyone.
