Name Magadan to Amsterdam by 4x4

I plan on shipping my 4x4 too South Korea, take the ferry to Vladivostok then start driving from there.

I want to go to Magadan via the Road of Bones, then turn around and start heading west. I plan on spending about 1 month in Mongolia then back into Russia before heading into Central Asia. (I'd like to hit all the 'stans that I can) Then back into Russia for Moscow and then up to Norway. Depending on time, I'd like to go through the Baltic states then some of eastern Europe (Poland etc) but I'll have to see how things are going at that time in the trip.

This won't be an easy trip, but it will be fun and full of adventure.

ms Hi I am traveling the Pamir Hwy leaving Dushanbe around Sept 6 and arriving in Murgab around Sept 10. I'm picking up a friend in Murgab and heading back to Khorog so may not have the seat available for the return journey as 3 in the car is a bit of a squeeze. Contact me if you're interested. Cheers

ms Hi all.... This trip is well under way but I haven't had a minute to update anything as I've been busy making up time lost on the road. I'll be in Mongolia for the month of July then heading to Central Asia in August. I've got a seat in the car if there is anyone interested for the Central Asian part.. I'll be passing through Russia before heading into Kazakhstan etc. Cheers

Todd Great to hear MS. Are you staying in UB? If so, Lauren from the Globetrooper team will be there sometime in July. She's currently trekking 1000 miles across the Gobi Desert and is set to finish in about 2 weeks. Anyway, I'm sure she'd love to catch up if you're in UB.

Todd Here's a video from Ewan McGregor's doco, Long Way Round, that shows them tackling the Road of Bones that this trip from Magadan also plans to tackle: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdgLHO787-0.
