Lauren Hi Desiree, I'm hoping to go to NYC in August or Sept. But not sure on dates yet. I will let you know. What are you wanting to do? Museums? Shopping? Restaurants? Have you been before? It would be my first time so I probably want to check out MOMA and Times square

Desiree Well, I definitely want to do some shopping and explore some the major shopping areas. I would be up for a Museum. Haven't been to NYC before either so trying to figure out what I can squeeze into a week. Doing one Broadway show for sure. I have an extra ticket since the person who was supposed to go isn't. Other then that pretty open to exploring the city.

Lauren Yeah, I'm on a budget so won't be able to do much shopping (you'll be glad to hear Todd!). I'm thinking I might try couchsurfing... Desiree have you done it?

Desiree No, haven't tried it. How do you find people to stay with? I may do a Hostel. They seem to be pretty cheap. I'm on a budget also....:(
