Amsterdam: More than Smoking Pot in Coffee Shops

Amsterdam

Earlier this summer, a Dutch law was proposed that would not allow tourists to visit coffee shops. This is mostly a response to Amsterdam’s somewhat pervasive reputation as being the pot-smoking and hash-cookie-munching capital of the world.

In concert with the Netherlands Board of Tourism and Conservations, New York comedian/filmmaker, Mark Malkoff is on a mission to show Americans that there’s way more to do in Holland than smoking pot in coffee shops.

Check out the first four videos.

From Wikipedia:

Mark Malkoff is an American comedian, writer and filmmaker who formerly worked for Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report. In July 2011, Malkoff tried to do everything in his power to be thrown out of a Manhattan Apple Store, including having a pizza delivered, bringing in a band to play live music, bring in a pet goat, and trying to have a quiet candle-lit dinner with his wife.
