Name Pushkar Camel Fair, Pushkar
Rajasthan calling :) -- one of the most beautiful states of India.
The ‘Pilgrim City’ and one of the oldest Indian Cities, Pushkar is a picturesque town in Rajasthan. The prime attraction is the Holy Pushkar Lake, considered sacred by the Hindus.
Every November, the sleepy little township of Pushkar in Rajasthan, India comes alive with a riot of colors and a frenzied burst of activity. It’s the world’s largest Camel Fair! The Pushkar Mela. A truly unforgettable experience to capture the vibrancy of the entire state of Rajasthan in one place!
Each evening around the campfire you can enjoy evening performances featuring musicians and dancers from the Thar desert. Authentic performers and the private setting make this a highlight of the camp.
The nightly programme may include traditional puppet shows and magicians
as well as performances from desert musicians and gypsy dancers.
Some of the performers come from semi-nomadic communities who wander the Thar desert and camp outside towns and villages. Their musical traditions are handed down from generation to generation, the old teaching the young.
Will leave from Delhi and arrive back to Delhi by train/shared cab.
Pushkar Camel Fair, Pushkar
