My travel partner bailed on me so I'm looking on here for anyone willing to go round the world starting from the beginning of may - I have the flights planned already via STA travel which come to a price of around £1800

I originally planned to moped through Europe down to greece where we would have then taken a plane from athens to Dubai and then to Mumbai in India. Going through to Nepal and Tibet ending up China, shanghai where there is a ferry taking us to Japan. A flight to New Zealand would be next and then to LA in USA where I planned to trek across to New York via train.

Prices of flights have been quoted to me as £1800 (which include flexibility to change the dates), I am in the process of planning accomodation however in China I should be able to get much cheaper in accomodation due to family relations.

Dave How are you getting into China? I haven't checked for about a year, but it's usually very hard to bring a bike into China. I'd be up for it, but applying for dual citizenship with Portugal is taking longer than I thought. I think I'm going to have to postpone my trip for another year.
