In spring/summer of 2012, I plan on riding my old Ducati down the West Coast of California. Visit the Grand Canyon, cross Texas, then will make my way through the Southern US before shipping the bike and myself to the UK (maybe from Savannah, GA). I'll visit big parts of Europe and if it hasn't gotten cold, I'll ride across Russia, ferry the bike to South Korea and ship it to Seattle. If it has, I might get a job in Turkey.

I'm doing this on the cheap. Not that I'm a cheapskate, but I'd rather not spend my money in fancy hotels. I'm not picky about where I'll visit except the Ducati museum in Italy and Isle of Man for the motorcycle races.

Sarah Your trip sounds great! unfortuantly i don't ride/own a motorbike nor have a spare few thousand, But good luck with it. VERY jelous you own a Ducati

Dave Thanks. I'm not sure if I'll make it this year or if I'll end up in Brazil. It's an old one, nothing new and fancy.
