RTW, or part: North America in the fall onwards... - Group Travel

Starting from the UK. North America in the Fall: New York City to Toronto via some means, ideally through French Canada, or perhaps directly to Canada if time is short. South as the fall comes to an end. This is where itinerary can vary: either to South America (countries are an example), or to Australia and then Asia, or directly to Asia. In Asia possibly to Thailand and then southwards overland through Malaysia to Singapore. From Singapore fly to Hong Kong before return to UK. But lots of scope for discussion about route. I'm funding this in part through renting out my house, Australia is very expensive for me and thus may be avoided, also my estimates of overall cost may be too high. Let me know. Previous experience of road trips in the US have shown how effectively costs can be reduced by sharing transport.
