Name SE Asia - Bangkok to Manila

I am a 23 year old female. I'm a very laid back and outgoing traveler (I tend to make it up as I go along) I am looking to travel SE Asia the winter of 2010-2011 on a budget of (hopefully) 10,000 CAD.

I'm starting in Bangkok Nov 5 and leaving through Jakarta April 8th. I plan on hitting up all the tourist-y things as well as off the beaten track and random side adventures that just, well, happen.
I'm also completing my PADI Scuba Dive course in Thailand and will be doing lots of diving throughout SE Asia

I love any and all outdoor adventures and I am open to suggestions and meeting dates to those interested in joining me.

Hey, Ash,

I see you have the same travel date with me. Which part in Indonesia you're going ? In 5 Nov 11' I'll be heading from East Sumatra [RIAU] till West Sumatra [PADANG]. Along the way we will drop by many places and meet the locals, experience the village life, nature. There are plenty of activities we can do along the trip, like Hiking,Jungle tracking,Farming, and many more. Regarding the accommodation, we will be staying with my family and relatives house over there. But, I can't promise you hotel/guesthouse alike place. As we are staying in village house mostly not cost you anything. Regarding food, it's very cheap here, but most of the place offer local food, if you're don't mind, why not give a shot and try. As we will experience a true Sumatra Culture, I hope this will make you interested. Regarding the expenses, it's very CHEAP to travel around here. you just need Maximum 10 Million Rupiah to survive for 2.5 weeks (depend on you expenses).

So far I have a friend from Travbuddy confirmed and another friend have not decide. Feel free to drop me message over here/ Facebook =)

By the way I'm 22 Years Old, I'm always travel between Sumatra and Malaysia.

Just looking for 4 people to travel along.
