Shanghai- Cape town - Group Travel

Hey my name is Eric. I am looking for someone who would like to do an extreme bike trip. I am currently alone but would be great to find someone to share the cost and for safety reasons.

My goal is to leave from Shanghai and bike yo Changdu, go trough Qinghai province in the Himalayas then go North trough the Taklimakan desert. Moving West trough Kazakstan, Kyrghystan then the Pamir region of Tajikistan at the border with Afghanistan. Then move West trough Uzbekistan then Turkmenistan. Explore Iran then Turkey and go to Athens. From there fly to Alexandria in Egypt and go South trough Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya and Tanzania where I would stop to try to climb the Kilimandjaro. Then I would continue south trough Malawi, Mozambique and finally South Africa.
It is not an easy bike ride with a wide variety of cultures, extreme (desert, altitude, temperature, etc) and there are several Visa issues. However, all regions are fairly safe to bike to.
I would leave at the end of February 2013 to get at high altitude during a good season and take approximately 2 years to complete.
