Singalila Ridge Trek - Darjeeling - Group Travel

Trek Itinerary for Singalila Ridge - darjeeling

Day 1 : pick up from bagdogra airport or njp railway station and drive 3 hours uphill to Darjeeling stay the evening at the hotel.

Day 2 : Drive from Darjeeling to Maneybhanjang and we start the trek to Tumling (3060 mts) via Chitrey monastery ( a Tibetan monastery constructed more than 100 years ago by a lama who came from ladakh ) and after lunch proceed towards Tumling where we stay for the night.

Day 3 : after Breakfast we trek to Kalapokhri ( the black pond locals call it the death pond ) lunch enroute the trek . we spend the night here and rest well for the next day.

Day 4 : after b/f we trek to Sandakphu (3636 mts ) and spend most of the afternoon looking at the magnificient views of everest, makalu and lhotse ranges and kanchenjunga on the other side we spend the night here

Day 5 : after b/f we trek to Phalut ( 3600 mts ) a whole day trek lunch enroute amazing views of all the mountains all the way to Phalut we spend the night at Phalut

Day 6 : after b/f we trek to Gorkhey a small quiet village and spend the night here.

Day 7 : after b/f we trek to Rammam have lunch and proceed to rimbick where we spend the night at the lodge

Day 8 : we drive to Darjeeling and spend the evening at the hotel.

Day 9 : we spend the day visiting the HMI( everest museum), Tibetan refugee self help centre, happy valley tea gardens and late afternoon we catch the joy ride by the heritage Darjeeling Himalayan railway.

Day10 : we drive back to bagdogra airport or railway station for further journey back home.

the trek is inclusive of

1. a well qualified trek guide during the trek.
2. porters , cooks
3. all food and lodge/ tents during the trek
4. permits for the trek
5. all transportation during and after the trek by comfortable private vehicles.
6. hotels in darjeeling, pick up from the airport and drop to the airport.
