Not sure whether to drive or take buses. I am a female, that alone poses a lot of risks of being attacked. I am learning Spanish and martial arts, but don't want to take a gun. I really just want to live on the continent for a few months, enjoy simple local food and sleep in a tent or a car, or even in a cave. I am in good shape, did half the US and France, but need help with mountains that need climbing.
I am 33 yo, looking for any age group to join. In all pragmatism, having a male in a group will be great. Spanish speaking natives are treasure.

Olga Wow. I have not been on this site for a while. My life took a little detour. Thank you everybody for your replies. Right now I am moving out of the house in Florida and have to visit my family in Russia. After all that I could make the decision about this trip. I apologize for not keeping up. But my Spanish is decent now, I can definitely get by!

zane_mcgarity Hey, glad that i found your trip.i think that you and i have similar ideals, and i think that it would be great to link up for this. i will be heading through mexico and south america in a few days, but i think that i will probably still be working my way down june. i dont know how flexible you are, but if that is possible, take a look at my trip.

Olga Thank you! I just learned that they use zip lines as a form of transportation in Peru! I am a total adrenaline junkie and would love to do that! 12,000 feet in the air nonetheless.
