Waking up on a cold, miserable, wet day in UK a few months ago, I decided I wanted to get out of the rat race for a year and do some travelling. I'll be travelling light with a backpack and staying in relatively cheap accommodation. This is a once in a lifetime adventure for me and I would love to have some company for some/all of the journey. Want to join me? Arrive in Bangkok on 7th June and have booked two nights in Evergreen Laurel in Silom. I am planning on exploring all the countries listed and want to avoid the real touristy areas and get to know the locals and their customs. No plan as such and will make it up as I go along. Travelling around SE Asia overland.

VickyL I'll be in Fiji Jan 23 to Feb 12, 2013 then to eastern Australia until April if you'd like to try to meet up. Mainly staying hostels plus a couple of weeks at timeshares. Valipps@msn.com
