Spending NYE on some island in Thailand. Possibly Krabi or Phuket but would like to go back to Koh Tao too.
As I need to train muay thai a couple of times a week, I will be looking out for muay thai clubs so my route will vary depending on that.

After Angkor Wat in Cambodia, heading back to BKK for some work and visiting a friend in Hong Kong.
Then heading to Malaysia & Indonesia for diving, hopefully to learn kitesurfing/wakeboarding, visiting the world's largest temple - Borobudur and getting to Jakarta from there
Flying back from KUL

Jaxon Your jungle route looks epic. Just be careful near the borders, check the travel advisory websites for any travel warnings because there's often guerrilla warfares. If you're in Phuket I'd recommend Sinbi Muay Thai, all the guys at my gym swear by it. I have a recommendation for a training camp in Chiang Mai as well, I can find out the name of it if you want? When are you heading there?

Jasmin Hi Jaxon, I've heard of Sinbi as my friend trained there 8 months. Was thinking of heading there too, but it's in Rawai 45min...and I'm closer to Pattong. Will see how things go...would love to go to Sinbi. Will see if I make it so say hi to my friends trainer :) Yes, please let me know what the one in Chiang Mai is. I plan to arrive around the 5th or 6th of Jan I think... What's your plan/route?

Hummingbird Hello, your trip sounds great, especially the muiy thai clubs and exercising. I wish I could join you , but I am a bit out of fitness at the moment. However, I am looking to find a group to spend New Year with - anywhere in Asia is fine. Do you have any firm plans for NY? Cheers, Ann (currently in the Philippines)

Jasmin I Ann, I will be in Phuket for NYE was debating Koh Lipe and Krabi too, but I figured if there's a place to meet people, it's Phuket :) Sorry for the late reply..!! Jasmin
