Is anyone keen to join 2 fun people on a 4x4 adventure through Southern Africa in November 2010? The trip price includes almost all meals, camping equipment and the occassional chalet/proper bed along the way. There are NO hidden costs. Please let me know ASAP

we are looking at leaving Cape Town on 31 Oct for a 5 week 4x4 camping trip with our own driver/guide and will go through Namibia/Botswana/Zimbabwe and Mozambique before ending up in Durban...

we have planned the itinerary already to incorporate the main sights but obviously having our own vehicle, we can be flexible...

There is one price which includes everything (petrol, border crossings - although not visas, vehicle hire and insurance, food - almost every meal, camping gear, tour guide and driver etc)

itchyfeet Trip sounds great. Having your own driver/guide is an excellent idea. I'm definitely interested. What are the main things you want to do on your trip? Have either of you been to Africa before?

perks Your trip sounds awesome, but I think mine may have been just turned on it's head. Rather than starting in Southern Africa, I think I'll be ending there in April - August of next year.
