I am planning to backpack through the coastal areas of Spain which would roughly include parts of Catalonia, Valencia, Murcia, Andalusia. I also plan to see the cities of Barcelona, Valencia, Benidorm, Granada and Seville.
In Portugal, I would want to go to Faro, Lagos (its surrounding areas) and Lisboa.
I am mostly flexible but I would prefer a logical order of destinations.

Sheen Hey.. Is your trip plans still on? Let em know if you get more people interested? I'm in Belgium and looking to cover Spain Costa Brava (Cami de Ronda), until Barcelona. Maybe I could join for a part of your full trip. I've already made a lot of research for this part of Spain, so I could also give you info. Need to decide very quick...! Let me know if it's going through...

raHul hey sheen.. my trip plans are on.. but i am jostling for a schengen visa. The embassies seem to have a lot of appointments around this time and the earliest they can see me is on the 29th of march. I am trying to get one through the french, spanish and the portugese embassies. If not, I ll probably try the dutch or the belgian embassy in a couple of days. will keep u posted. lemme know what u think and how you plan to go about costa brava and barcelona. cheerz!

Sheen hi..I've booked my trip! Yippy... I"ll be in North-east of Spain (Costa Brava to Barcelona) between the 02 - 08 April. I'm planning my place and pace myself. So it's gonna be as I like it woohoo..I wouldn't mind meeting up with fellow travellers though, to share their ongoing experience. Hope you'll be able to get hold of the visa soon. Btw, UK citizen do no require visa's - check?

raHul i think i ll be in costa brava and barceolna around the 8th to the 10th. Will then head to valencia, alicante, benidorm and seville, spending around a day in each of the cities. you are right about british nationals not requiring a visa.. I hold an indian passport, so am expected to have entry clearance prior to arrival. how do i add u on facebook?

raHul hopefully i shud get one before i leave.. am planning to do portugal in a couple of days after that and then move on to brussels, antwerp, den haag and amsterdam after that.
