Name Spain To Eastern Europe

Backpacking/traveling from Spain to Eastern Europe and then the Netherlands and France. I'm pretty flexible in excluding and adding destinations but I want to focus on eastern europe instead of the ritzy (read pricey) western europe. I'm a college student (20 years old, female) so I'm not Paris Hilton-money-burning status but I am a person with a strong love for any type of food or starch so I am most interested in exploring the food, culture, and touristy places like ice caves. I also like to hike but am utterly uncool so I am not too fond of alcohol.

I can only speak English and broken spanish. However, google translate will be my best friend. I would prefer someone(s) within my age bracket and would prefer a small group. Hosteling and couch surfing will probably be the norm. although the latter is highly negotiable.
