Summer 2013 Road trip USA - Group Travel

-Do you want to spend next summer on the roads of USA?
-Do you own a drivers license?
-Are you looking for flexible and easygoing people to travel whit?
-Is the travel as an experience more important to you than destinations?
-Does route 66 sound freakin' amazing?

I will be spending the next summer in the United States and I wanna hit the road. Hopefully start from California or New York and cross the country whit 2-4 others. Most likely rent a car cause buying one seems like a bureaucratic hellhole unless someone is local.

The exact route is not an important thing for me. But for the sake of making this ad more concrete I say I'd like to go from cost to cost which way ever. For example Starting from New York the Chicago and Route 66 to Arizona then Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and finally to LA. That same thing can obviously be made from wes to east. And because we are independet travelers whit enough time, we can change our plans if we hear about something awesome that is hapening somewhere awseome. That being said I think its little hopeless to plan an exact itinerary beforehand and try to stick to it for two (or so) months. Nothing will be as planned but more awesome instead.
