Donalm2013 Wow, this looks cool my name is Donal I'm 24 and from Ireland i plan to backpack south america in summer 2014 from beginning of June to late August so i could partake in some of the trip, i'd love to take in the amazon, ignazu falls in Argentina and some sky diving in Sao Paulo.

DrewC1 Hey Donal, you are more than welcome to join up buddy. I would assume that we will be around Santiago, Chile by the beginning of June (rough estimate). And from there you would be able to see the waterfalls of Argentina, the Amazon of Brazil, and some skydiving/World Cup action in Sao Paulo with the group....with much more in store!

roy ok so im on my way anyone wanna meet up somewhere? i should be in mexico city by next week or two. depends on how many free rides on trains i can get lol. found a bus that will take me there for 120 dollars but i think ill try the train. any way here we go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Katy Hey Alexandra! I'm currently living in Buenos Aires, Argentina (where I came a month ago from France), and am also planning a trip around South America starting from September. My idea was to go from Argentina to Mexico visiting all the countries on the way, however I can adjust to my travel partners. I am flexible on the activities, but also wish to stay as cheap as possible :)

Lily Ng Hi YK, I will be in Cusco on 20 Jun and Machu Picchu in 22 Jun. After that, I'm going to go around Peru (Puno, Arequipa, Huaraz, Chiclayo and Trujillo). Will also take a 4 days Santa Cruz trekking trip in Huaraz. I also plan to go to Ecuador and to Galapagos in this Aug. Pls let me know if you are interested, thks.

roy i would like to go to those places aswell. i am from texas and plan on leaving in may of 13. i plan on doing a lot of bus train and walking. im not looking to do the hotel thing. i too am open on where i would go and how long doesnt matter. im just looking for the views and looking for a good time. tell me what you think
