Michael Patrick Kelly Hey! I'm cycling from Barcelona to Marrakech in Morocco, to the fringes of the Western Sahara.. I plan on aimlessly cycling down the east coast of spain, hugging the balearic sea, camping out under the stars, stay in a few hostels, couchsurf and whatever.. maybe hitchhike if the bicycle breaks down, but just keep going, with no real plan. Anyone wana come with? meet in barca, buy a bike and just hit the road.. keep on riding into the redenning sun :)

Vormes Hey Danielle I have been thinking about it for three years but I haven't really come up with a defined plan yet. My rough idea is to go to north eastern Canada in June/July, travel south along the east coast all the way through USA, Central America and South America to Cape Horn where I'll probably be around February, and then I'll take it from there. I figure it might be easier to find something in that area (or maybe somewhere else in Argentina or Chile) because on the internet the information about it is very scarce. Tell me if you have any ideas :-)

Div Hey hey!! this is something along the lines of what I want to do...just need to make the jump of gettin out of work and ACTUALLY doing it!...:( easier said than done thats for sure! hehe. sooo maybe you can be the motivation behind it!

Todd Kristle: funny you say that, I'm the same :) Looks like this trip has become stagnant. Check out the "RTW" at the top; lots of backpacking trips to and around Europe. I'm in Berlin right now and highly recommend a visit here. Super cheap compared to what I expected. All the best, todd.

Hierarchy I assume you have the catamaran? Will the owner be along on the trip? What are thr ages of the people currently planning to go, or the ages of the people you would prefer to go? Does the boat have broadband internet? Which route were you planning to go on? Specifically, what expenses is an individual expected to cover? Is this trip meant to go to out of the way places, port hopping, both, other? How much planning has already taken place ( routes, provisioning, refitting etc. )? Have you done a trip like this before? How knowledgable are the sailors involved? Thanks, in advance, for answering my many questions.
