Hello Everbody! We are to people from Europe want to travel to Tanzania. We are currently looking for flights and will book mid/end of November (Prices are exptected to rise).

We want to travel ~3 weeks in February to Tanzania. There is no concrete travel route, but some fixtures:
- Climbing Kilimanjaro (not Coca-Cola-Route)
- Going to Zanzibar
We have a medium budget, don't want to stay in expensive hotels, but also $5 guesthouses with shared facilities is not an option for us.

We are open to all nationalities, genders and ages. A plus would be 2 travelers, because we are also 2 persons. We only speak english and german. One of us a professional, the other one a student.
We are both into DSLR-photography, so maybe we need on some beautiful places a couple of minutes longer to capture a nice view.
We have already traveled Vietnam, Thailand, the USA and a lot of countries in Europe.

We want to find 2 travelpartnes, because it is much more fun to explore the world together!

Edwina Grace Storie Hey I've noticed you guys are going to be in Zanzibar early and I'm also going to be in Africa from 1-13 March but am still deciding where to head to. I was wondering what you guys had planned for Zanzibar? Or just lots of holiday making?

USAFM6 I'll be in Zanzibar from 3-8 March! I'll be staying at the Pearl Of Zanzibar which is on Baghani Street in Stonetown. Have dinner reservations for "The Rock" Restaurant for the 7th at 7 PM & also plan to do some diving, snorkeling, nightlife exploring, mountain biking & hanging out on the beach. Just checked Expedia and there are still lots of rooms available for the same dates I'm there. Let me know if you'll be there the same time !

USAFM6 Not that I know of Edwina. I'm traveling alone as the folks that originally posted this trip haven't committed to anything as far as I know. Also, they are going to complete their travel by 25 Feb so they'll be gone by the time I get to Zanzibar on 3 March. Come join me in Zanz, it won't be any fun alone! :)

Sirup Hi Chris, we are right now 3 people and we already booked our flights (1.2-21.2). A 4th person might also join us. (Deciding next week). We will climb Kilimanjaro around 7-14.2. So everybody welcome to join us - It gets cheaper - Up to 8 people are possible.

USAFM6 Hello!
We just booked a climb for Kilimanjaro starting on 25 Feb and then I'm going to Zanzibar the following week. We are NOT using the "Coca Cola" route up the mountain but the Machame Route. I found a hotel in Stonetown Zanzibar that's mid-priced range and has great reviews. We have room for our climb that starts on 25 Feb & ends on 2 March. Then I have a plane booked to Zanzibar for a very reasonable cost and will be there from 3 March-9 March. Let me know if these dates are about the same you were considering. There will be at least 2 or more of us already on the climb and then possibly the same for Zanzibar. Our trip is already listed here on Globetrooper.
