So I really don't have a game plan yet, still have a huge amount of research to do, but the plan is to go to Thailand for 2 months or so, really immerse myself in the culture, etc. and backpack around the different areas. The cost estimates are probably way off so I will need to research more!

I am looking for a travel buddy/group of people/whatever. I am a young girl, university student, DESPERATE to get out and see the world. I'm feeling a little too restricted lately and need a bit of an adventure. I really really want to go to Thailand. This would most likely happen next year if not the year after. I am also a writer and would love to just backpack around, write, take photographs, enjoy the food, culture, beaches, sights, partying, etc. etc. I am VERY serious about this trip so if you are interested let me know ASAP and we can begin research/planning! P.S. it is helpful if you live near Vancouver, BC so we can meet up prior to but obviously that may not be the case.

Gillian Hello, I am a girl of 34 years old and live in the north of Spain. I planned to do a tour of Southeast Asia and a half months. Myanmar, Thailand, Laos (Luang Prabang), Vietnam, Cambodia (Angkor), Singapore, Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur). Maybe it does not fit with your idea because you just want to be in Thailand, but just in case you leave the comment. My idea was to leave by the end of May and early July return. Greetings!
