I am planing a trip to explore the Himalaya and see part of India. I plan to start in China to complete a trek around Mt Kailash (Tibet), then carry on to Nepal for a short time before crossing into India. Once in India I hope to see Darjeeling, Varanasi, complete a retreat at an ashram in Rishikesh, visit McLeod Gang, and of course hit the main sights in Deli and Rajastan. If time allows maybe a jaunt towards Goa and Kerala.

I am thinking of joining an adventure tour company for some parts of this trip and doing other parts independently. I am looking for others to join me for all or parts of this adventure!

soli travel it's off season and heavy rain at Kerala and south side..but Goa the season starts this month onwards...but i been travelling from south to north so may not convenient to join with you guys,,,:(

Tamara September should still be fine for the passes in West Tibet. They are quite high. If you're trying to go by yourself you could try going down from Xinjiang or Qinghai. I've done both. It will be very cold at night.

Angela Hi We are doing something along the same line. We need a fourth person to join our Tibet section of our trip to keep costs down. Let me know if you have any interest in joining three girls.
