I am planing a trip to explore the Himalaya and see part of India. I plan to start in China to complete a trek around Mt Kailash (Tibet), then carry on to Nepal for a short time before crossing into India. Once in India I hope to see Darjeeling, Varanasi, complete a retreat at an ashram in Rishikesh, visit McLeod Gang, and of course hit the main sights in Deli and Rajastan. If time allows maybe a jaunt towards Goa and Kerala.

I am thinking of joining an adventure tour company for some parts of this trip and doing other parts independently. I am looking for others to join me for all or parts of this adventure!

Angela Hi We are doing something along the same line. We need a fourth person to join our Tibet section of our trip to keep costs down. Let me know if you have any interest in joining three girls. We are all well traveled. We are starting in China and ending in India. Trip date starts on or around Sept 14 2012

I just did some of the places that you have listed there a few weeks ago...absolutely beautiful and I am thinking of going back in April next year to do Nepal and the Annapurna region if you are keen to join! :) let me know! would luv for ppl to come with me! :) have a look at the trip I have created! :) thx guys!

MOUNTAIN DEW The Annapurna region is best visited in Oct Nov. So I will give it a try in Nov. I will do the 5 day Poon Hill Trek. If u like to join ur most welcome. Else I can join ur itinerary in April. I am mad about Himalayas........

frayknott hi, ive thought visiting some of the sacred sites in india as well as trekking in nepal also seeing as much of south asia as time and money allows. how long is the retreat at the ashram take to complete? i am into learning about vipassana meditation and have signed up on a retreat in the uk in april after which i was thinking/planning to travel, september-nevember hits the spot for me. looking around for ideas and travel partner too.
